Dr. Jennifer Hancock joined Mary Baldwin University in 2016 after teaching anatomy, physiology and research methods for 7 years at Marietta College in Marietta, Ohio. Dr. Hancock earned her BA in biology from Capital University and her PhD in ecology and evolutionary biology from Ohio University. Dr. Hancock is the coordinator of the health sciences major, an interdisciplinary undergraduate program. She teaches Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, Introduction to Health Professions, as well as the senior capstone in this major. In the summer months, she is an instructor in the human anatomy lab for graduate students in the physical and occupational therapy programs at the Murphy Deming College of Health Sciences, MBU Branch Campus in Fishersville, VA.
