The foundation for careers in medicine begins in the undergraduate years. Here you’ll learn how to begin the process of pursuing a career in the health sciences. You will learn the steps to take during your undergraduate years at Mary Baldwin to facilitate your acceptance into professional schools.
Your academic advisor (assigned your freshman year) and premedical sciences advisor are available to help you through this process. Your advisors can make you aware of all your options in the field, help you plan your path from undergraduate to professional school, and assist you through the application and reference letter process. It is imperative that you come to know your advisors early in your academic life.
Mary Baldwin has course equivalents for medical school requirements for the following professions:
- chiropractic medicine
- physical/occupational therapy
