The College of Arts and Sciences embodies MBU's core liberal arts mission, incorporating more than 80% of our major and minor offerings and including most of the courses in the common curriculum experienced by all undergraduates.
The university’s programs in arts, humanities, and natural and social sciences prepare students for personal and professional accomplishment.
Most undergraduate College of Arts and Sciences programs are designed for traditional students with on-campus classes, but several are also available completely or mostly online through our Baldwin Online and Adult Programs.
This college also includes MBU’s one-of-a-kind graduate program in Shakespeare and Performance, in partnership with the world-renowned American Shakespeare Center in downtown Staunton.
