Public Use of Mary Baldwin Buildings and Grounds
With unparalleled views of downtown Staunton and the surrounding countryside, Mary Baldwin University offers a picture-perfect backdrop for private events. The college makes some of its buildings and grounds available to the public when not reserved exclusively for its students.
Schedule an Event
To inquire about scheduling receptions and other events, contact Sylvia Fielding in the Physical Plant office at 540-887-7209 or email@example.com. Activities typically are permitted only during the summer, when students are not on campus.
For many years, Mary Baldwin University has allowed sledding on the hill above the lower athletics field off Coalter Street, between the Mary Baldwin Entrance Drive and Prospect Street. The college stresses that sledding is at the risk of the sledders, it is prohibited elsewhere on campus, it is not allowed anywhere after dark, and parking is prohibited on Entrance Drive.
