Two Pre-Ministry Carpenter Awards of $2500 each are awarded annually to Ministry minors and/or Religion majors or minors who demonstrate an overall commitment to a post-graduate career or life-long avocation of ministry. Both scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit and financial need.

All students engaged in the Carpenter Preparation for Ministry program are invited to express interest in these awards. Philosophy and Religion faculty, working with representatives of the financial aid office, and the registrar’s office, collect the pertinent information necessary to make appropriate decisions. Decisions as to scholarship winners are made late in the spring semester of each academic year.

For additional information about the Pre-Ministry Carpenter Awards, please contact the Chaplain to the College.
