Introducing MBU’s New Health/Wellness Navigator

We caught up with Christine to learn more about her and her role at MBU.

What’s one of your top priorities as you begin your position at the university?

I’m so glad to be here! Working alongside the wellness team at MBU, our goal is to create a culture of wellness on campus. A culture that is all encompassing of your total wellbeing. One that supports you in your wellness and allows you to live your best life.

What’s your vision for the MBU wellness program?

I’m looking forward to unveiling the revitalized “Well By Choice” wellness program for faculty and staff. You can expect the program to be:

  • User-friendly
  • Streamlined
  • More encompassing for faculty and staff
  • Ability to have more autonomy over your health
  • Ability to offer more diverse programming

I’m excited to connect with MBU community members and support you in your wellness.

What drew you to working at MBU?

I wanted to focus on serving and working with the community I live in. I also feel a strong need to change the culture of higher education to include more mental health and stress management services.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I am a busy mom of two girls (ages 5 and 7); I fuel and train for life to keep up with them. I enjoy running, cycling, lifting weights and yoga. We love camping and attending live music events.
