At a recent reception honoring all student employees, Myriell “Mia” Tyler ’13 was named Mary Baldwin University’s Student Employee of the Year for 2012.
Tyler is one of about 350 students on the college’s employment roster, which includes federal work study, non-need work study, Mary Baldwin Changemaker, and resident advisor positions. She is an office assistant for the Baldwin Online and Adult Programs (Baldwin Online and Adult Programs) office.
“Mia is a young woman of excellence, who always brings her best to her work at the Baldwin Online and Adult Programs House,” said Debra Bibens, director of Baldwin Online and Adult Programs operations and Tyler’s supervisor. “She has proven herself to always be the consummate professional with the highest work ethic, producing quality work in every situation. Mia embodies the Mary Baldwin motto of ‘confident, compassionate, changemaker.’ She is truly an integral part of our professional team.”
