Public affairs broadcaster C-SPAN will be bringing its mobile learning center to Mary Baldwin University from noon to 1:30 p.m. February 20 in conjunction with the launch of its new original series, First Ladies: Influence and Image, premiering this month. Airing at 9 p.m. on Mondays, it will be the first television series to showcase all of the American first ladies, from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama.  The bus, which will be parked in the Student Activities Center parking lot, is a 45-foot interactive multimedia learning center that brings C-SPAN’s coverage of public affairs to communities nationwide. Inside are interactive stations demonstrating C-SPAN programming, online resources, and how to use C-SPAN video library, an archive featuring more than 190,000 hours of programming that dates back to 1987.
