Mary Baldwin’s College of Education Offers Reduced Tuition Rates

Mary Baldwin University is now offering a reduced tuition rate for students interested in enrolling in a pre-set course sequence in either special education or higher education. Special education remains one of the perennial critical shortage areas in teaching. Mary Baldwin’s master of education (MEd) concentration affords certified, general education teachers the opportunity to add an endorsement in special education to their license. Courses vary in format — some are completely online, some meet in-person a few times a semester with coursework online (hybrid), and others meet on a regular basis. No matter the situation, students and their advisors work together to best meet the students’ needs. “Both of these programs offer online coursework as well as practical experience through quality fieldwork and internships,” Potter said. Note: The special education track for the MEd, unlike Mary Baldwin’s master...
