Experiential learning is a hallmark of the Mary Baldwin University experience, and Mary Baldwin is committed to providing international study and cross-cultural competence as vital parts of a transforming, liberal arts education that fosters active, engaged citizens of the world.
Regardless of academic major or language ability, students are encouraged to travel, study, or volunteer overseas. Students can apply for short-term study abroad courses organized and led by Mary Baldwin faculty during May Term or plan to volunteer outside the United States for a summer, semester, or year, either at one of the college’s partner universities or through non-Mary Baldwin programs.
The Spencer Center for Civic and Global Engagement is a great place to start exploring study abroad options. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
